1. The auction house in Requiem. It is advisible to BUY your first set of equipment at lv10. Get whatever you can afford. It will make a big difference starting out and will allow you to start farming your own stuff a whole lot faster and easier.
2. Reinforcing / Compounding: Some say its a waste to do it early on, due the cost involved, however I feel as long as you don't get carried away, a real nice set of lowbie armor can carry you a long long ways.
3. DNA: Don't go past lv2 dna boosts until well into mid game (prob your 30's or so), it is not very cost effective. The longer you wait, the cheaper its going to be (and trust me, it's going to get expensive!)
4. Do all the quests!, this means any npc or scroll quests you can find, do them!. It will help LOADS with leveling quickly and getting requiem lant to pimp your gear out =)
5. Solo vs Party: this really comes down to a couple of things ... your class and how greedy you are (chuckle). I see no differences really between party and solo play for the most part (then again I am a class built to solo so), however, if you feel you need more requiem lant, more items, etc ... perhaps solo is better. You do have to share loot randomly
(or in order) while in a party so. Also some quests require you be in a party (sometimes 4 or more people).
6. Monsters and Drops: If you click on something to kill, you will see a little colored orb beside their name, (yellow, red, blue, green, etc)...As long as that orb isn't green(I belive it turns green when the monster is 10 levels below your level) they will still drop items! take advantage of this fact!
7. Communication Difficulties: Ok, so your wondering why you can't talk to everyone in that groovy yellow chat? Well, sad say this feature is only for pay members. Also, some people have problems with the chat channels while in a party, this can be fixed by simply clicking on the tab you wish to speak on (little boxes at the top right of your chat window), this will allow you to set which channels you can see as well as speak on for that tab. Simply put a check in the box you wish to activate and presto!
8. Leveling and you: Remember not to kill monsters too high or too low when leveling. See this link for more details: Wiki - EXP Chart
9. Exp stacking: Premium Membership Xp Bonuses + Item Mall Xp Item Bonuses WILL stack. However, multiple Cashshop XP Items will not stack.
10. Bags: Bought a bag from the cashshop?, Can't figure out how to activate it?, Drag it to your hotbar!
11. Client Download Issues: Ok, I have noticed some people having issues with "corrupt" downloads. I am not going to say ALL the people are having the problem I will be explaining, but chances are MOST of them are. Basically, you need to get yourself "7-zip" this will allow you to unzip the client without any hassle. (P.s. game devs: all game clients over 2gigs should NEVER be zipped, this causes issues for more people than it solves in the long run.)
